Our docent will walk us through the exhibit, sharing thoughts and answering questions about each installation along the way. Comfortable walking shoes optional!

Tuesday, November 10—Community Tuesdays My Go-To Place invites you to join the Chicago Architecture Center for a virtual tour of the Chicago Riverwalk. Have you seen the transformation of the Chicago Riverwalk over the years? Experience all the sights and sounds as we take a virtual stroll down this historic pedestrian walkway, located on the south bank of the Chicago River.

Learn about the conditions immigrants faced in the 19th Ward of Chicago, the unique work of the Hull-House residents, the life and work of Jane Addams, and the lasting impact of the Hull-House Settlement through collections of artifacts, photographs, and stories.

Join Our Live Zoom Activities 5 Days a Week

Mondays, 1-2 pm. Join Beri Cohen of Yellow Elephant Yoga for Pilates! This workout combines increasing mobility, strengthening and fun! All exercises will be done from a chair with the option to stand. Please prepare either two towels or 2 yoga blocks and 1 towel. This will be an interactive class and modifications will be made as needed.

Yiddish Tish

Mindfulness with Chloe

Fridays, 10 am—Chloe Gremaud, LCSW from CJE SeniorLife’s Counseling Services will lead group participants in mindfulness exercises that help support mental wellness. Building the ability to stay present can help participants to cope with stress and uncertainty and reduce negative thinking.
