Through Title III of the Older Americans Act, CJE can provide the home delivery of one to two hot kosher meals for older adults who are unable to shop and/or prepare food.
- Meals are delivered between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm, Monday through Friday.
- All meals are healthy, calorie controlled and meet Government Nutrition Standards.
- Frozen meals (also, available during weekday delivery, ) may be used for weekends, during the Jewish holidays or national holidays.
- Special diet meals include diabetic, low sodium, renal and mechanical soft.
Eligibility requirements apply, based on assessment by the North Shore Senior Center.
