I am the Director of Research at CJE SeniorLife. I have worked in the field of aging for over 15 years; my very first job in the field was an Activity Coordinator at CJE’s Friend Center.
I am an applied researcher, program evaluator and educator who has worked in the field of aging for over 25 years. I have always been interested in gathering different points of view, understanding everyday experiences, and thinking about aging from different disciplinary perspectives.
I am the Research Associate at CJE SeniorLife. I joined as an intern in 2015, and moved to the research department full-time in July 2016.

I am a Ph.D. Student in Disability Studies at University of Illinois at Chicago. I hold a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Gerontology, Psychology, and Family Studies, and a Master of Science in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Miami University of Ohio.

I have been in the healthcare field for 10 years accomplishing numerous positions including C.N.A. and Nursing Administrative Assistant until I found my calling as an Activity Director! I am a certified Laughter Yoga Leader, Chair Chi Instructor, and bonafide people person! I look forward to engaging residents as well as the community!
