CJE SeniorLife Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer, Stacey Turner

CHICAGO, May 19, 2023 – CJE SeniorLife, a nonprofit innovative eldercare provider and social service organization that serves more than 20,000 older adults and their family members annually, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacey Turner as CJE’s next Chief Financial Officer, effective May 15, 2023.

Turner succeeds Thomas Lockwood, who has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2015 and recently announced his retirement. “We would like to thank Tom for strengthening the financial foundation of CJE, and his commitment to upholding our mission of enhancing the lives of the older adults we serve. Because of his leadership and financial stewardship, CJE is better positioned to be at the forefront of serving older adults and those who care for them,” said Dan Fagin, President and CEO. “We are excited to bring Stacey on board as our next CFO, and believe her leadership experience will be a strong complement to our executive team and be invaluable as we continue to drive our strategic and financial operations forward.”

After a nation-wide search, CJE is thrilled to welcome Turner as its next CFO. After a 30-year finance corporate career with General Electric, she made an intentional shift to the nonprofit sector. For the last five years, Turner has served as the CFO of Chicago Children's Museum, an organization whose mission is to improve children’s lives by creating a community where play and learning connect in both the Museum and in Chicago communities.

Turner is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business, and she earned a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. She serves on the board of Lincoln Park Community Services, an organization providing interim shelter and services to people experiencing homelessness. Turner lives in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago with her husband, John, and their 14-year-old daughter, Ava. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and playing pickle ball and tennis.

“I look forward to joining CJE SeniorLife’s talented team and am excited to be part of an organization committed to positively impacting the lives of older adults and their families throughout metropolitan Chicago,” said Turner. “I am impressed by CJE’s dedication to its employees and the community.”
