CJE SeniorLife Elects New Leadership at 49th Annual Meeting

CHICAGO, December 22, 2021–The leadership of CJE SeniorLife elected a new slate of officers for the 2022 fiscal year at the organization’s 49th Annual Meeting held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 as a hybrid virtual and in-person event at Weinberg Community for Senior Living in Deerfield.

New members of the Board of Directors, each slated for a three-year term:

  • Caryn Rosen Adelman, of Winnetka, works as a consultant to and for philanthropists and philanthropies—advising family foundations, donors, and a myriad of world-wide organizations. Caryn was an elected trustee of the Village of Winnetka, president of Winnetka Village Wide PTO, and president of local chapters of the League of Women Voters. She also served as president of the JUF Young Leadership Division, president of the JUF Young Women’s Board, a Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago board officer, and chair of many committees. She was an officer and board member of the Jewish Federations of North America, United Israel Appeal, and United Jewish Appeal (UJA-Federation of New York), and past president and board chair of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and Friends of the Israel Defense Forces. She is currently a board member of The Jewish Agency for Israel.

  • Morris Kharasch, MD, of Highland Park, is an Emergency Medicine Physician at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As an emergency physician working at Glenbrook Hospital, he has cared for many Weinberg Community for Senior Living residents, and has family members who have utilized services at Weinberg Community’s Adult Day Services, Friend Center, and Gidwitz Place for Assisted Living.

  • Marjorie H. Loeb, of Chicago, is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Margie was senior vice president and general counsel and secretary at Fiat Chrysler in Detroit. She has been involved with the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, including as a trustee of the Jewish Women’s Foundation and a member of the Health and Human Services Commission. She also serves on the board of Women Employed in Chicago, has participated in grant review and other initiatives for the United Way, and is a member of the Chicago Economic Club.

  • Paul Stepankovskiy, of Deerfield, is a Senior Vice President - Wealth Management, and Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS Financial Services for the Millennium Wealth Management Partners. Paul is one of the founders and principals of Millennium Wealth Management Partners, which works exclusively with successful families, business owners, young professionals, and their advisors. In addition to serving on the CJE Board, Paul currently sits on a few private company boards. He is also a member of the Finance committee at Congregation B’nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim (BJBE) in Deerfield, Illinois.
