In the early weeks of the Covid-19 pandemic, CJE President and CEO Dan Fagin sent out a call to Board Members for extra funds to purchase food for our employees at Lieberman Center and Weinberg Community. According to Fagin, the response was tremendously spontaneous and generous. As he recounts,
“I made the ask, and in less than 30 minutes, I had $6,500 committed.”
In the end, the Board committed over $15,000 in funds to help our employees be fed and taken care of during this unprecedented time.
