We are so excited to bring you My Go-To Place virtually.

We look forward to when we can bring these programs to you in person. Until then, we will do the next best thing and bring programs through your computer, smartphone or telephone. We understand that this is a new and challenging time for everyone, so let’s stay connected!

The Chicago History Museum's virtual exhibition will guide us through the crucial events and conditions before, during, and after the fire—many of which draw striking comparisons to today's social climate. The exhibition features more than 100 artifacts and includes stories from survivors of the fire. Participate from home (on Zoom!). Register for October 28 >>>

Thursday, November 11My Go-To Place invites you to join us for our Virtual TripWadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. Founded by Daniel Wadsworth in 1842 in Hartford Connecticut, the Wadsworth Atheneum opened two years later with just seventy-nine paintings and three sculptures. Today the collection exceeds 50,000 works of art including European art, Contemporary art, costumes, and textiles. Join a docent from the museum for a virtual tour through some of their most interesting galleries and beautiful works of art. Participate from home (on Zoom!). Register for November 11 >>>

Mindfulness with Chloe

Fridays, 10 am—Chloe Gremaud, LCSW from CJE SeniorLife’s Counseling Services will lead group participants in mindfulness exercises that help support mental wellness. Building the ability to stay present can help participants to cope with stress and uncertainty and reduce negative thinking.
