Our carefully planned environment, well-trained staff and engaging activities help our residents maintain a strong sense of dignity, independence, comfort and safety.
Our home-like atmosphere helps new residents immediately feel at ease. Private rooms are often personalized with furniture, favorite photos or familiar treasures. The interior design is simple, lighting is soft and color schemes and signage are designed to provide cues that help guide residents through their daily activities.
We are dedicated to finding ways around challenges brought on by memory loss. Residents receive individual attention from our staff far beyond compassionate medical and personal care. Relationships are built through thoughtful interactions. Staff is present to accompany a resident for a leisurely walk through the gardens or provide comfort during stressful moments.
For Friend Center residents, socialization is a regular part of each day and might include exercise classes, excursions to cultural events or holiday celebrations.
