Move it Monday with Kate! Join us for a class focusing on strength and balance. Have a sturdy chair, a water bottle handy, a pair of weights (soup cans or water bottles also work well) and resistance bands (a hand towel can work instead).

This group is for older adults who have lost a significant person in their life.

Group members will

  • Learn how to cope with grief and loss.
  • Share experiences with others in an emotionally safe and confidential environment.
  • Meet in person with COVID-19 protocols in place.

Chloe Gremaud, LCSW from CJE SeniorLife’s Counseling Services will lead group participants in mindfulness exercises that help support mental wellness. Building the ability to stay present can help participants to cope with stress and uncertainty and reduce negative thinking.
