Dysphagia in Elderly Population: Signs/Symptoms, Management, and Treatment
This presentation will discuss dysphagia in the adult and geriatric population. Dysphagia is a symptom from a disease and is the medical term for having difficulty or discomfort when swallowing.  Each year, approximately one in 25 adults will experience a swallowing problem in the United States. This discussion will provide insight to the signs and symptoms, management, and treatment of dysphagia.
