This program will present evidence on the powerful link between physical and mental health. In particular, the session will focus on the role of exercise and physical activity in improving both physical and mental health including depressive symptoms, stress levels, and overall well-being. Strategies and recommendations will be presented so attendees will leave with practical solutions for increasing their physical activity levels to improve mental health. Finally, the presenter will also discuss the role of physical activity and exercise in promoting cognitive function as we age.
