2019 Aging Well: Film Night

Lorraine Morton, an Evanston icon who was a local school teacher, principal, Alderman, and has the distinction of being Evanston’s longest-serving Mayor, is the subject of this documentary. The film reflects Morton’s philosophy adopted from her father: “Only a life of service is a life worthwhile.”

The film, a Shorefront Legacy Center production, was created by Shorefront Director Dino Robinson and Steve Lemieux-Jordan. They will be in attendance along with members of Lorraine Morton’s family for the post-film discussion. The Aging Well Film Night is sponsored by Three Crowns Park.
