CJE SeniorLife again met the goal for Create A Jewish Legacy and received a $10,000.
Thank you for supporting CJE SeniorLife!
The soul of a great organization can be found within the people who nurture and sustain it.
While providing for the future of your family, you can ensure CJE SeniorLife will be here for the next generation. In partnership with the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, CJE’s Endowment Foundation safeguards the needs of our community’s older adults today and in the future.
At the heart of the CJE Endowment Funding is a concrete plan of actions to secure vital resources that will enable CJE to keep pace with the growing needs of older adults.
Three years ago CJE SeniorLife was selected as one of 15 organizations to participate in a new program, Create A Jewish Legacy, to help local organizations obtain legacy gifts.
Create A Jewish Legacy is funded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and an anonymous foundation, and it is managed by the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. Legacy gifts will safeguard CJE’s ability to provide community programs for our seniors for decades to come.
CJE Endowment Foundation
Our CJE Endowment Foundation offers donors a broad range of planned giving opportunities. You can leave your legacy from a variety of assets. Whereas annual contributions are used for current needs, the principle of an endowment gift remains intact, expanding resources for future generations through its yearly income.

Whether your gift-giving goal is to make this world a better place, acknowledge your respect for the elder generation, or make your name a living blessing, CJE can help you meet your objectives. By choosing to create a charitable legacy, your commitment will strengthen the Jewish community long into the future and “make your story happen” for generations to come.
Trained professionals are available to assist you in making a gift that can maximize the benefits of contributing to CJE SeniorLife. When considering making any of these gifts, it is best to consult your legal counsel and tax advisor for specific details.
