
Nancy Harris, Interim Director, Lieberman Center for Health and Rehabilitation
Nancy Harris is serving as Interim Director of Lieberman Center. She brings to this position a great deal of experience gained from serving in social services agencies and hospital and physician practice prior to coming to CJE SeniorLife. At CJE she has most recently held the position of Senior Director of Compliance. She holds an Illinois License in Nursing Home Administration. She is also a certified professional in Healthcare Risk Management and in Healthcare Compliance. Nancy received an undergraduate degree in Political Science and her master’s in Health Services Administration. She enjoys spending time with her family and her two longhaired dachshunds, Patrick and Connor.

Gregory Wallman, DO, Medical Director
Dr. Gregory Wallman is a board certified internist. He graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. This was followed by an Internal Medicine residency through Northwestern University at Evanston Hospital, where he served an additional year as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Wallman’s practice focuses on preventative care as well as the treatment of both acute and chronic diseases. He has a strong focus on patient education. He is on staff at Glenbrook, Evanston, and Highland Park Hospitals. Dr. Wallman is a native of Deerfield, and now resides in Highland Park with his wife, son and daughter.

Caroline Hourihan, BS, MS, Director of Rehabilitation
Caroline Hourihan, is the Rehabilitation Director at the Rehab and Fitness Center at Lieberman Center for Health and Rehabilitation. She has been with Lieberman Center for about three years when she was hired as the full-time speech-language pathologist, as well as the lead therapist of her team. She brings with her four and a half years of experience as a speech-language. Caroline has an MS in communication disorders and sciences from Rush University and a BS in communication disorders and sciences from the State University of New York at Fredonia.. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a certificate of clinical competence.

Jennifer Reiner, MS, RD, LD, Director of Dining Services
Jennifer Reiner is the Director of Dining Services at Lieberman Center. She also directs the new Branches Gift Shop there. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and has a passion for nutrition and wellness and loves working with older adults. She has a BS in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and an MS in Nutrition Science from Mississippi State University.

Leon Greenberg, Manager, Home-Delivered Meals and Kosher To Go
Leon Greenberg is CJE’s Manager of the Home-Delivered Meals and Kosher to Go Programs. In this position, he makes sure that delicious fresh and frozen meals get produced and delivered to individual subscribers and organizations. He found out about this job while volunteering at Lieberman Center, where the Programs are based. Prior to CJE, he was Shift Supervisor of Prepared Foods at Whole Foods, where he managed all catering orders. Leon has worked in the food industry for over 10 years, including starting his own baking company that specialized in rugelach and black and white cookies, sold online and in local grocery stores. He enjoys cooking for family and friends, photography, and tennis.

Rabbi Michelle Stern
Working primarily at Lieberman Center and Weinberg Community, Rabbi Michelle Stern leads Shabbat and holiday services, shares her deep love of music by integrating it into prayer and programming, and facilitates dynamic Jewish learning sessions. In addition, she provides spiritual guidance to residents, clients, family members and staff members during transitions that occur in a health care setting.
A board-certified chaplain, she has worked in numerous hospitals, nursing homes, congregations and schools on the East Coast and the US Virgin Islands. Rabbi Stern’s interest in eldercare and the intersection of spirituality and health grew during her rabbinical internships in long term care and acute care hospitals.
Before joining CJE, Rabbi Stern worked as the staff chaplain in the emergency and intensive care units at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, where she also trained as a mindfulness meditation facilitator. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College and holds a Master’s degree and ordination from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.
