CJE's Pandemic Protocol Update—August 1, 2021

August 1, 2021

Dear CJE Clients, Residents, Family Members, and Caregivers:

I am happy to report that all CJE programs are open to some degree and accepting clients. Many are back to in-person sessions, though we continue to offer a remote or virtual option to clients for some programs, such as counseling. Mask-wearing is always recommended within our buildings, as are social distancing and frequent handwashing.

Since CJE has many different programs throughout metropolitan Chicago, we do need to be on top of the regulations that impact seniors in a wide variety of settings, whether they are living in their own home in the community or in one of CJE’s buildings, including Weinberg Community for Assisted Living in Deerfield.

We know the pandemic situation can change quickly, especially with the new Delta variant, so we will continue to monitor our COVID-19 situation and are following the recommended guidelines by the State of Illinois, Cook County Health Department, Lake County Health Department, IDPH, IDOA, the CDC and other health regulatory authorities.

If there are any significant changes, CJE will update our protocols as needed in alignment with the guidelines so check our website regularly.

If you have any questions about your current CJE service or would like information about the the status of our programs and services, please call us at 773.508.1000.  We are here to help!

Stay safe and be well,
