CJE SeniorLife employs over 750 full and part-time workers from diverse backgrounds.
CJE values each of these individuals and strives to create a work environment that is inclusiveand welcoming to all. To further this goal, CJE created a Diversity Committee made up of employee volunteers. The Committee meets to discuss diversity issues such as holiday celebrations, kosher food, cultural differences, language, and respect. At the meetings, the Committee decides on diversity initiatives to recommend to the Agency as a whole as well as to specific departments or programs. The Committee also plays a role in developing the Agency’s harassment and diversity policies, and assists in educating employees about these policies.
