My Go-To Place—Thursdays

Thursday, July 2, 1 pm—My Go-To Place invites all fans of The Marx Brothers to a captivating program led by film historian, Dr. Annette Bochenek, of Hometowns to Hollywood! Dr. Bochenek will take us behind the scenes to learn about the lives and legacies of the Marx Brothers comedy team. You are sure to be entertained as we follow the evolution of the iconic Marx Brothers from their humble beginnings to Hollywood fame! 

Thursday, July 9, 1 pm—My Go-To Place invites you to Virtual Dance Class with GiGi Tonye’ Arts & Fitness! Gigi will teach a Zumba style class suitable for all fitness levels. Get ready to follow along with the steps or just listen and tap your toes to the lively music! If you like dancing, this is the program for you!

  2. You can choose if you would like to use your camera so we can see you or just hear you through the built-in microphone.

To join by dialing a telephone for audio-only:

  1. Dial 312-626-6799. When asked, type in our Meeting ID: 358 048 8078 followed by the # key. You will be asked to press the # key again to join the meeting as a participant.

Join Margaret Danilovich, Board-certified Geriatric Physical Therapist and Senior Director of the Leonard Schanfield Research Institute at CJE SeniorLife, for a 30-minute fitness class. This week's class is: “Kettlebell Strengthening." Bring an item that ideally has a handle – a milk jug, laundry detergent container, purse/backpack, or any other household item that is easy to hold for a class designed to build your muscle strength. All activities can be done sitting or standing to accommodate all fitness levels.
