A Resource for Information and Continuing Education

 
CJE SeniorLife has 40 years of experience assisting older adults, their families and caregivers with the complex issues related to aging.  Therefore, social workers, geriatric care managers and a wide range of health care professionals know they can turn to CJE for resources that will help in their understanding of eldercare issues.  
 
At various times throughout the year, CJE SeniorLife holds professional seminars and conferences (often with CE and CEU credits), publishes findings to an innovative research study or releases educational information for those who are interested in the evolving needs of seniors. 
 
 
CJE SeniorLife is also very fortunate to have its own applied research division. Founded in 1995, the Leonard Schanfield Research Institute (LSRI) is dedicated to stimulating, fostering, and communicating new knowledge in the field of aging, both for the benefit of CJE SeniorLife clients and for older adults and their families throughout Chicago and the metropolitan area and across the country. Many of LSRI's research projects turn into cutting-edge programs for CJE and become models for eldercare organizations throughout the country.
